Co-ops and condos in Brooklyn

Apartment cleaning that arrives with its paperwork

We clean apartments in buildings with a front desk. The desk gets our names the day before, your managing agent gets a certificate of insurance, and the service elevator is booked before we arrive.

  • Certificate of insurance on request
  • Names to the front desk the day before
  • Service elevator booked by us

What we clean

Four kinds of clean, for apartments with a front desk

  • Bright apartment room with a white fireplace mantel, round mirror and hardwood floor

    Recurring cleaning

Weekly, every two weeks or monthly, by the same two people on a fixed weekday.

  • Pink-gloved hand wiping a bathroom faucet with a blue cloth

    Deep clean

Radiators, grout, inside the oven and fridge, planned around your building hours.

  • Empty living room with hardwood floor, ceiling fan and French doors

    Move-in and move-out

An empty-unit clean timed to the move, with the elevator booked for both.

  • Black arched wooden door in a red brick wall with lanterns and stone steps

    Vacant and sublet units

The doorman protocol

A visit, in the order the front desk sees it

This is the same on every visit, so the desk never has to ask who is coming.

  1. 01

    Step 1: The day before

We text and email the desk and the super: two names, the arrival time and the unit.

  2. 02

    Step 2: At the desk

Both cleaners arrive together, sign the visitor log and show photo ID. The desk calls up or lets us in as you instructed.

  3. 03

Step 3: In the service elevator

Carts ride the service elevator in the window we booked. Pads go down first.

  4. 04

    Step 4: In the apartment

Two cleaners work through the written checklist, room by room, in about the hours quoted.

  5. 05

    Step 5: Signing out

We sign out, return any key to the desk and text you a one-line note on how the visit went.

Elevator booking

The service elevator is booked before we are

Most buildings take elevator reservations only from the resident or the managing agent. We ask how yours does it, send the request in that form, and confirm the window back to you.

  • A form, the desk or the super: we use whichever your building uses.

  • Booked for the visit, not for the day.

  • Carts and equipment never ride the passenger elevator.

  • If a move has the elevator, the desk tells us and we pick the next window with you.

The certificate

What the insurance covers, in numbers

A board or managing agent can ask for a certificate of insurance before we start. We send one by email, with your building named as certificate holder.

Insurance
General liability insurance, $2,000,000 per occurrence, $4,000,000 aggregateCovers damage to a unit or the building while we clean. We send a certificate on request and can name your managing agent and building as certificate holders.Workers' compensation and disability benefits insuranceCovers our crew while they work in your building. The certificate comes with the general liability one.

Plans

Three visit plans, one building file

Every plan includes the desk list, the elevator booking and the same two cleaners. Pick how often; the rate comes down the more often we come.

One visit a month, for a small apartment kept tidy in between.

    • Same two cleaners on the building file

    • Our own cloths and products, fragrance-free on request
    • Inside the oven or fridge
    • Interior windows
    Term:
Billed to your card after each visit.

Skip or move a visit by text at least 48 hours ahead and there is no charge; closer than that we may charge half the visit. No contract, no sign-up fee.

The price depends on the apartment's size, its condition and how often we come. A standard visit is set for a one-bedroom up to 750 sq ft with one bathroom; larger or heavily used apartments are quoted in writing after a short call or a few photos. The rate comes down the more often we come.

What boards and residents say

“Our managing agent asked for the certificate on a Tuesday morning and had it before lunch, with the corporation named on it. Since then the super hasn't had to chase anyone.”

Sangeeta B.Board treasurer, co-op in Park Slope

“The doorman had the two names before they arrived and the elevator was already booked. I was at work and nobody called me once.”

Grzegorz W.Condo owner, Greenpoint

“They stay inside our contractor hours and put pads down in the elevator. I had three units done in the spring and the board heard nothing.”
