About
A family firm that learned the doorman first
Burnett Cleaning is a family firm of twelve in Brooklyn. We clean apartments in co-ops and condos, and we started by learning what the front desk needs: a list of names, a certificate, an elevator window and a phone that gets answered. Elaine Burnett still writes every building file herself.
The firm
A crew of twelve, including four people you will hear from

Habits
How we work
We ask for the rules first
Before a visit we ask for the contractor rider, hours and elevator method.
We tell the desk
Names, time and unit go to the desk the day before.
We say what we saw
Damage, leaks or a locked door gets a photo and a text.
Meet the crew at your desk
Book a visit and the desk meets us the first morning.
