Questions co-op and condo residents ask
How is the price decided?
By apartment size, condition and how often we come. You get the number in writing before the first visit, and the quote lists every extra by name.
What happens at the first visit?
Two cleaners arrive in the elevator window we booked, sign in at the desk and follow the checklist. A first visit takes longer than the ones after it.
Do I need to be home?
No. Most residents leave a key with the desk or are at work. We never copy a key and we never ask for a code by email.
Who comes to my apartment?
Two members of our crew, assigned to your apartment. We send their names to the front desk the day before. Photo ID goes with them.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry general liability and workers' compensation and disability benefits. The certificate lists the limits and can name your managing agent and building.
What if something is missed, broken or missing?
Text a photo within 48 hours. We return within five business days to fix what was missed. We report breakage the day it happens. Policies has the terms.
Who books the service elevator?
We do, in the way your building requires: a form, the desk or the super. We confirm the window to you.
What do you bring?
Our own cloths, vacuum and products. Fragrance-free products on request. We never use anything already in your apartment without asking.
Do you clean with pets at home?
Yes. We ask before the first visit where the pet will be, so a door is never left open.
What is your cancellation policy?
Text at least 48 hours ahead and there is no charge. Closer than that we may charge half the visit. The Policies page has lockouts too.
Still have a question?
Call or write. Alina answers during office hours.
